Google API Privacy Policy

Securcube Forensics Report (the client) is a case management application. As a part of the solution, there is the integration with third-party application programming interfaces (APIs).

Securcube Forensics Report use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Application access to Google user data

Access to data is granted to the Securcube Forensics Report application when the user decides to use the Google Calendar third-party API. The purpose of this is to let Forensics Report edit and sync the stored cases dates and summary information to be accessible from Google Calendar. The data is never accessible to Securcube SRL.

 

Types of Data Collected

Securcube collects the following information about the user using the Google API:

• The id/start time/end time of the user’s registered events in the selected Google Calendar
• The email address of the linked account

The following information are used when an event is registered into the calendar:

• Summary, location, description, start and end time, attendees

 

Application use of Google user data

Securcube Forensics Report will use information for the following purposes:

• Updating the corresponding case event into the user selected Calendar.

 

Application storage of Google user data

From information, that is obtained from Google API, the followings are saved into the Securcube Forensics Report configuration file:

• Token information (access token / refresh token / validity period), which Securcube uses to access the Google Calendar API.
• Email address of the linked account, which is used to identify the obtained or updated calendar.

 

Application sharing of Google user data

Securcube SRL does not share any information to third-parties.
